WebOn 1 December 2024 metering contestability was introduced into the Tasmanian electricity market, together with a number of other Australian jurisdictions. From this date, Aurora Energy assumed responsibility for all new metering installations, taking over from TasNetworks who remains responsible for metering installed prior to 1 December 2024.
