To mount some popular sights, such as a Holosun 507k, typically an adapter plate is used, since the front post inserts on the Holosun pattern are for whatever reason slightly shallower than the RMSc. So what folks do is grind off the front posts. WebJan 19, 2024 · It is a very small mod that is needed to fit the Holosun 407K and 507K to the 43X/48 MOS slides. You have to remove the rear posts and shorted the front posts some. The 43X/48 MOS slides are milled for the Shield RMSc footprint. So any optic that uses the RMSc footprint will work.
