A multi-year and multi-institution collaboration standardizing and synthesizing archaeological data for important sites in the Potomac River Valley during the period 1500-1720. Webered from the Clifts Plantation site in Westmoreland County, occupied from about 1670 to 1730. Neiman suggests that during the latter phases of this occupation there was a change from the use of shared drinking vessels to a more individualized mode of consumption, each person using his or her own cup.
